Meet Dr. Robert P. Schmid

Born in Austin, Texas, and raised in Lubbock, Dr. Robert P. Schmid is the grandson of former Governor Preston Smith.  A Magna Cum Laude graduate of Texas Tech University in 1993 and an Honors graduate of the University of Texas medical school in 1997, Dr. Schmid was one of 19 residents from across the country selected to start a dedicated Plastic Surgery Residency in 1997.
